I believe that all children are unique and gifted in some way. I truly prefer to work with them one-on-one. Each child learns in a manner that is a challege to meet and I welcome this challenge and often find that I learn as much from them as they might from me. Children love to learn and I love to provide that opportunity in as many varied and intersting ways as I can.
I have taught 4 and 5th grade in the Texas School Systems for 24 years. I worked as a retired teacher in the Adams Wells Special Services Coop for 3 years (2006-2009)as a teacher's aide with special needs students both in the elementary and high school levels. Those children varied from autistic, cerebal palsy, Attention Deficit Disorders with and without Hyperactivity. A Little Bit About Me...

Since 1966, I have been teaching/tutoring students in all levels of mathematics. In 1977, I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Eduation. I consider myself a Mathematics teacher, substitute teacher(60 schools), teacher's aide, tutor, and consultant. It's my whole mentality; I literally can't talk to students without asking about their school, their academics, their mathematics, and their sport. I cultivate a great rapport with students based on those four subjects. I'm also very well read, a History minor, and am straight A's in three language grammars.
