While I was in high school, I took honors courses and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I tutored an 8th grade-9th grade boy in TCAPS preparation and helped him complete homework in Math (pre-algebra, algebra, and pre-geometry), Science (biology), and English. I tutored him for two years. After I graduated high school I was accepted to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I am currently in the spring semester of my sophomore year. I will be returning to Johnson City this summer and am available to tutor. I babysit two young boys currently, one of whom is 5 and I help him with kindergarten homework,such as learning words and reading. I am capable of helping with all ages. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a First Class BA in English from Oxford University and a Masters in Film. After graduating I worked with an educational consultancy where I helped to create learning materials for numerous children and adults, many of whom were learning English as a second language or had dyslexia. This sparked my interest in tutoring. I went on to spend two years working with a prestigious tutoring company, teaching children of all ages. A Little Bit About Me...

The civil engineering program that I successfully completed into a 4 year BS degree, was math and science intensive, with about half the courses requiring laboratory work. My highest math course was in differential equations, also I completed physics, chemistry, and electrical course material. I have had 9 years experience as either field engineer or construction superintnedent. Writing reports, conducting training and development seminars was a standard part of either job, whether the subject was construction means and methods, safety concerns or design changes.
