Language Arts is one of my top subjects!

PHILOSOPHY The key to education is to love what you do and I love what I do. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing students' progress. As I teach with love and I create a fun environment for students (using games to practice the language), students become involved and interested in the classroom. I have also tutored one-on-one and I prepare a lot of different activities for the class and exercises for the student to be able to practice the language when I'm not there. I encourage watching TV news programs to practice listening comprehension and the use of flash cards in order for the student to memorize some short phrases. I have a doctorate in Modern Languages & Literatures (German, Spanish, & English), and have taught undergraduate & graduate courses in German, Spanish, English, Film Studies, Linguistics, & International Studies. I have taught students from many different backgrounds and with varied abilities. I come from a family of educators... and I love teaching!
