A Little Bit About Me...

I began tutoring high school and middle school students when I was a college student and high school soccer coach. Upon completion of my degrees and being awarded my teaching certification I began teaching in a high school math classroom. During my eight years in the classroom I taught all levels of math from Pre-Algebra through AP Calculus. I am a senior at Reed College studying mathematics. While at Reed I have worked as both a grader and a tutor. Having graded assignments, I can quickly grasp multiple ways to approach a problem and give commentary where necessary. I also have experience working at an alternative school as a math tutor, with students who have trouble succeeding in traditional learning environments.
