I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I love being able to help students feel comfortable with the material they are studying. I have tutored numerous times throughout college, and would like to get back into tutoring students because I find it to be rewarding. As a student who went from living in Germany and being taught that there are many ways of getting the right answer, to moving to America where everything is taught in one way, I have learned to incorporate my tutoring skills to the need of each individual student. I try to figure out what works best for every individual and help them focus on their strength and improve their weaknesses.
My teaching style depends on the student. I am comfortable with trying different study methods in order to figure out why my student is having trouble with a particular subject.

My comments on tutoring Speaking : Master the art of public speaking and presentation with proven effective methods.

In both my technical business and music coaching backgrounds, I take two different approaches: - In a group class, I teach structured lessons with engaging group exercises where possible and time for Q&A. - In individual coaching, I assess each learner's intrinsic motivations (mastery, learning, recognition, etc.) for taking the lessons and then structure assignments that apply to and challenge these motivators.

I was awarded the Best Teacher accolade for both areas of study when I graduated from the Mico Teachers College. The use of age appropriate instructional materials and classroom activity have aided in achieving success. My experience as a teacher has helped immensely in the many senior management roles that I have held since.
I am a dedicated teacher, as the old adage goes 'once a teacher, always a teacher'. I taught English Language and Grammar up to pre college level. I usually do a pre assessment of my students to determine their level of functionality, the same techniques I used with my own children. I do not give up on my students, every child can learn.
