My comments on tutoring Political Science : My college minor was International Affairs. I also interned at the U.S. Congress, both House and Senate, as a college student. My tutoring experience includes AP U.S. Government, but I can also easily assist with AP Comparative Government. I spent three summers teaching international politics to gifted middle school students for Johns Hopkins.

Students being tutored one-on-one deserve lessons customized to their learning style. My sessions often incorporate some writing and topic discussion along with activities tailored to the student's interests, skill development needs and preferences.
This is my fourth year tutoring middle and high school students in History and Government. I also have professional classroom teaching experience and volunteer elementary school teaching experience. My students, primarily Global History, World History and European History students, have raised their class grades, passed the Regents exam by many points and earned high scores on the AP. Upon my decision to return to college and obtain my BS degree, it was discovered that I possessed an uncanny, natural talent involving all aspects of the studies surrounding English. Reading, comprehension, symbolism, poetry, creative writing, poise, maturitym ,ect. After that placement exam, it was decided that I did not have to take any English courses, or, I would take more advanced courses. I did choose the latter. Throughout the last 10 years, I have helped my husband, brother, all of my children, etc. I have tutored them on how to write a well developed paper on their topic of choice, and have it read showing the expertise of the writer.
