I graduated in May of 2010 with my BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas in San Antonio. I have taken all math courses from College Algebra to Calculus 3. Engineering courses have furthered my knowledge and understanding in how the mathematics can be applied to real life. I have tutored college and high school students. I tutored college students in Calculus and College Physics.I tutored the high school students in trigonometry and Algebra. I love to see children succeed. Every teacher must recognize that individuals learn at their own pace. I try to begin at a pace that the student feels comfortable with while gradually challenging them to improve their performance. My technical background makes me a very visual person. I like to incorporate that in my instruction, using visual aides and examples. Placing student of varying levels together will aide the learning process. My three-step guide is learn—teach—perform.
