A Little Bit About Me...

Experience in the study of British and American Literature, also have made a study of History in America and Britain as well during undergraduate coursework. During my Master's I studied British Literature and was a teaching assistant. During that time I spent two years teaching composition and argumentation at Bowling Green State University to cover college level essay writing which required both classroom and individual tutoring outside of class. Subjects for that course included a wide array of topics with a focus more on structure and the strength of the student's argument than the content or theme of the paper. I enjoy working closely with children as they work to learn new skills, habits, and ideas. The convergence of these three components to education happens most dynamically in an English Language Arts classroom.
