My comments on tutoring World History : For the same reason American History is one of my most knowledgeable subjects, World History is too. I have a Ph.D. in Political Science/ International Relations from the University of Washington in Seattle (1995). Plus I have extensive experience teaching both at the high school and university level. This experience includes institutions in Haiti, Mexico and the United States. Creating Independent Learners

My experience dates back to when I was in high school in the early 80's tutoring students and family members. My teaching style is more visual than verbal. Math and science are visual arts, meaning one must see and understand a formula before it is to be solved. In my experience, merely obtaining a solution to a problem is not learning, it is the journey from unsolved question to simplified answer is true knowledge.
