As a student in high school, I became fascinated with Chemistry and went on to earn a BS in Chemistry. The position I landed after school dealt with additives in rubber and plastics, so eventually I went on to earn a MS degree in Polymer Science. This helped me to land a better position. When the recession hit around 2000 and I lost my job, I determined to learn more about computers and summarily earned two AA degrees while working first part-time and later full-time in the computer field.
