English ESOL is one of my top subjects!

I taught English as a second language to adults in Fes, Morocco for two years and taught kindergarten through high school in Seoul, Korea for 10 years. As a private tutor, I have worked with business and academic professionals in the following areas: accent reduction, grammar, writing, and conversation. I have also worked with numerous elementary, middle, and high school students to improve their English skills. I ran an English immersion program for Korean kindergarten students which followed an American first-grade reading/writing curriculum.
I have high expectations of my adult students, but am understanding of the limited time most have. Therefore, I try to maximize class time and try to be flexible with scheduling. I enjoy teaching and investing in children. I was credentialed as a Substitute Teacher. When I taught in public schools teachers would request me by name to teach for their classes. I have experience working with elementary ages through high school and even adults. When teaching I try to break complex materials and concepts down into practical illustrations and concepts so the student can see the big picture then fit the concept into that picture.
