A Little Bit About Me...

During my time in college, I switched to become an educator as I discovered a passion to see the lives of children transformed. During my process of gaining my BS in Physical Education, I worked with many after school programs and taught both elementary and high school during my student teaching. Since college, I have taught and worked with children and youth around the world and currently volunteer in my local community, heading up an after school program that focuses on tutoring K-8th grade.
My greatest strength lies with my patience with children and flexibility to see what style of learning enables the child to best master the subject. I desire to lead children in finding the answer which will not only teach them the subject they are learning, but will enable them to reason and find the answers in other classes as well.
