A Little Bit About Me...

I work at the level of the student and I like setting goals with my students to create motivation. I am good with different teaching methods, whatever works best for the the student to learn.
I have been a tutor for over four years now. I work with all ages, at Sullivan Learning Company I work with K-8th, at Clovis High School I worked with high school students and I have done Spanish tutoring on my own with adults. I also teach Sunday school so I am accustomed of working with both individuals and big groups.

Since graduating from highschool, I have had the desire to encourage and expand the knowledge base and love of learning for each student in my care. Having grown up in multiple countries, I am fluent in English, Spanish, French and have a MA in Christian Education. In my 11 1/2 years as an educator, I have taught every subject in elementary school, with an emphasis on arithmetic, history, science, reading, composition and grammar. In highschool, I have taught history, writing, composition and logic. I currently homeschool my two daughters, who are in 3rd and 5th grade.
I am a firm believer that each child is special and distinct and each should be approached differently in order to achieve the maximum results.
