Throughout my grade school experience I never obtained anything below a 3.0 GPA. As a college student I have acquired a 4.0 GPA and feel confident I can assist with any educational needs. I'm known for my patience working with students with foreign-language backgrounds and other disabilities such as a lack of attention and focus. I learned from my professors at Swarthmore College (and a few at Penn) how to project a non-B.S. style, since kids tend to intuitively realize when their teacher has no idea what he/she is talking about. A Little Bit About Me...

I hold a provisional Teaching Certification from the State of Michigan; I have begun the process of transferring it to the State of Florida. A Masters degree in Education is in my near future. Prior to moving to Florida I was a football and softball coach for close to 10 years while serving the school district as a long term substitute in several capacities including Elementary and Special Education assignments.
The school setting is the perfect enviroment for character education. The combination of teaching academics and attitude together can lead a student on a path to success in all areas of life.
