I utilize elements of each of the five teaching styles; however, I prefer the I Do, We Do, You Do style of learning. I firmly believe in providing clear instruction and demonstration of each concept. Then, the student and I work together to master a concept. After that, I provide the student an opportunity to practice and demonstrate his/her mastery of the material in a variety of situations. If the student still needs help, I reteach. I believe in positive reinforcement. Every student can succeed. No one succeeds if he/she feels unimportant or unsuccessful. I started my tutoring experience in the math Lab at AUM when they stared up and continued until till I gratuated. I then started tutoring with the Learning center at AUM for several years. My job at Trenholm occasionaly required me to tutor more than one person. I emplement many differnt teaching stragies depending on the students needs. A student may require implements to learn a lesseon, or may require visual attetion while other are audio learns. It is hard to say till you learn the student.

I have recently earned a Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies and graduated Summa Cum Laude, which is the highest of academic honors. In order to obtain my degree, I was required to take several courses in a very broad area of study including writing, literature, reading, mathematics, history, and sciences.
