I ask a lot of questions to get the students thinking. I believe in teaching young people and the adults I have worked with to think critically fist. Then I work with them on being able to articulate and write their ideas down...subject matter follows naturally if they have the confidence and can just think for themselves not just spit back facts and what others want to hear. I hold a bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I majored in Elementary Education for two years before I switched majors. I started a master degree program in International Relations in 2009 and decided to return to school in the fall for a master's degree in social work. I have experience in private school and public school systems. I completed course hours for college in public school systems as well as working for public and private schools.
I have experienced various types of teaching styles while in school. I have learned a long the way every student is different and learns in a different way.
