Along with attending college, I worked at Lutheran Services in Iowa where I provided the daily care for severely mentally handicapped young men. Because all students learn differently, it is important for me as a teacher to get to know each student to find out what fits their needs the best. I like to offer a variety of activities that appeal to the hands-on learns, as well as kids that need visual cues. I am a patient, encouraging and energetic teacher.
