I am a graduate of Michigan State University and achieved a AS in applied mathematics, along with a BS in both computer science and mathematics. I was a teaching assistant at the university for three years, and assisted in the Learning center for a few more. I taught a few classes at Davenport University in Caro as well. I have tutored several math students before, and have given piano lessons to a number of students as well.

I have earned a degree in History from the University of Michigan and I have earned my teaching certificate and Master's degree from Wayne State University. I have taught high school for seven years and have taught numerous Science, Math and Social Studies courses. I have taught writing classes as well. I have recently graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor of Science and teacher certification degree. I student taught during the fall '09 semester. Student teaching provided many opportunities to work on various teaching techniques. The student teaching semester consisted of; leading the class in discussion on a daily basis, creating worksheets, conducting lab experiments and other activities, grading homework and tests, and much more. I created and taught four lessons during the observation semester. I have also been involved in teaching and tutoring a college chemistry class under the supervision of a college professor.
