My comments on tutoring Marine Biology : If you are taking this course in Oklahoma you are most likely at UCO with Dr. Bass. I still have my notes from this class and my field journal. Made an A.

I have a degree in biology. I was planning on going to medical school at one point so I focused on human anatomy and human physiology. I also took advanced mammalian physiology 1 and 2 for graduate credit. I made A's in all of these courses. I took an aquatic entomology course one summer and decided to focus more on ecology and zoology. I have taken invertebrate zoology, aquatic ecology, environment science, entomology, and other courses.
When you study a biological concept your study process needs to be organized. Most of my tests when I started taking upper level courses covered over at least 100 to 200 pages in the textbook. You need to learn how to break it down in to smaller sections while using your notes from class to predict the most important information to know thoroughly for your next test. As an MBA graduate, I have a level of success in business and business management. I have earned a B.S. in Organizational Management with a minor in Mathematics and an M.B.A. in Organizational Leadership. Prior to moving to Oklahoma, I attended Fort Valley State University and carried double majors of Mathematics and Geology. I did not finish matriculating at Fort Valley. My teaching is based on lecture explanation. During teaching/tutoring I encourage my students to ask questions. At the end of the lesson I provide problems related to the related material. Assign homework for next class session.
During my last year of college, I was employed by my university as a science/math tutor. During this year I was able to help students with their science problems of all levels. During my time in college I was involved in reading biomedical research papers.I was able to attract many students interested in the biomedical research field to learn how to read research papers. I was very proud of myself for this due to the high difficulty first year graduate students have reading these papers.
