I became a teacher because I enjoy working with children. I enjoy helping them in their learning process. When they do well in achieving their goal it's rewarding to me. I know I have accomplished something. All my students achieved a grade level or more whether I tutored on my own or with Club Z Tutoring Service.
I believe every child is entitled to an education regardless of any circumstance. They should strive to achieve all they can become. A Little Bit About Me...

It's true that every student learns at a different pace with a different style. I like to see myself as a cameleon teacher, catering my format to individual needs. My style tends to be laid back so that students are comfortable expressing their likes and dislikes with me, curbing their fear of not understanding something. I love to use metaphors, pictures, examples and stories to illustrate the subject in a new and perhaps clearer way. I don't teach and run - I make sure the student understands before moving on to the next problem. I have them work through something in front of me so I can make sure they know what they're doing. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy helping people learn something new. I think anyone can do anything they put their mind to. I would allow the student time to get to know me so they would feel comfortable with me. Students sometimes feel too vulnerable to try things when they don't know someone because they do not want to make mistakes. I would let them know that the only way to get better at something is to make mistakes so they can learn from those mistakes by making the appropriate corrections. Confidence is key. Positive work ethics allow me to help and give students the confidence necessary to complete anything put before them.
