Math Tutor! Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry!

I have tutored algebra 1 and 2, college algebra, intermediate algebra, pre-calculus, and geometry. My best subject is mathematics. On the SAT math section, I scored a 700 with the highest score being 800. When I was a freshman high school, I tutored students older than myself in subjects such as Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry. While still in high school, I took College Algebra at Broward College. I got the highest grade in that class -- an A.
My tutoring style is explaining the concept in the simplest possible terms and then practicing a few problems with the student. Then when I see the client has grasped the concept, I move on. I do not believe in rushing the student because I know how frustrating it is when one does not understand something.

I am the first college graduate in my family. In the last 18 years, I earned an Associate's Degree and a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics with a minor in Spanish. During my studies in Linguistics, I concentrated on language acquisition, phonology, and grammar and syntax. In 2010, I earned a Master's in Education with a concentration in teaching ESL. My degree in Education has allowed me to research various methods in teaching and how to best convey information to my students. I have taught K-12 ESL, Restaurant ESL, ESL for office jobs, ESL for medical jobs.
