My undergraduate degree is in Civil Engineering and I have recently become eligible to teach elementary education, middle school science and middle school math in New Jersey. I have had success as a tutor on several occasions as an undergraduate teaching assistant and a peer tutor. Currently, I am assisting two students in high school math and they are both responding well.

A Little Bit About Me...

I'm Alfred University Graduate student in Literacy Education, graduating in May, 2010. I attended AU for my undergrad work in Elementary education. During my time here I was able to do my student teaching, which were the best learning experiences I've had. During the summer of 2009, I tutored a young girl in ELA, to help with her speech and language impairment, which was very hands-on and a pleasure learning about her. Then I find out specifically where they are having difficulties and concentrate on that area.
