I am passionate about teaching, and really enjoy my job. I have been tutoring all grade levels and collage level too for several years now. A Little Bit About Me...

As an active member of my community, in the form of pageantry, volunteering, and leadership, I have always enjoyed instructing others. Currently, I love my job at Midwest Generation as an Instructional Designer of Training. I get to train Engineers and Office Managers on subjects I knew little about, and have grown in responsibility and development. I love kids, since my summer camp instruction job I held all throughout High School as well as an active instructor at my church. I just graduated from Illinois State University about a year ago, and am recently educated and knowledgeable in all subjects, especially English, Social Studies, and Math. I believe a great teacher needs to have proper skills and talents for teaching. I learned a lot while growing up from a great teacher; my mother. My mother was a teacher for thirty years teaching elementary grades. I learned a great teacher needs to be respectful, patient and to be able to illustrate the lesson in an easy, simple way. I try to provide simple analogies for each concept. This enables the student to grasp the concept easier and faster. In addition I help my students to learn better by asking few questions about the concept. This will help them to truly understand the lesson by using their analytical thinking.
