I am a high school Spanish teacher with 4 years of experience. I currently teach locally levels 3-5, but have experience with all. I am finishing up my Masters degree in Spanish with St. Louis University Madrid campus. I have studied 4 consecutive summers in Spain and travel there 3 times a year. I have lots of tutoring experience and adapt all my lessons to you or your child's need. I love what I do, and always attempt to instill that same love for Spanish in every person I work with.

I love to teach but primarily, I am a hands on teacher. Through my experience, I have learned the importance of reaching all types of learners. I identify my learners right from the beginning and understand if they are visual, auditory or kinesthetic learners. Based on my findings, I combine different teaching strategies. Many students struggle with a different language because they often compare it to their primary language. I try to make students understand that it is a language all on its own and we must not compare or judge, but embrace it and do the best we can to understand it and the cultures that come with it.
