As the daughter of an illerate parent, I have learned the value of being able to read and that of an education. My education is the second most important thing to me. I am the single mother of two children, in order to support them while attaining my degree I cleaned houses. This experience only solidified , in my mind, the importance of education. While working on my Japanese minor I quickly discovered that finding a method that works for an individual student is the most important part of studying productively.
