My vision is to help all students appreciate higher level of science and math education which I believe is a crucial component in the welfare and prosperity of our modern society. My background in earning a master of atmospheric science, bachelor of science degree in physics, radiation and applied physics with minor in mathematics has helped me grasp a well rounded and vast technical knowledge in the areas of science/math. I have a high level of experience in research, problem solving skills, laboratory skills and applications of science in the real world. I always have to assess what my students don't know. I have to create a method of teaching the information to them that they can relate to. After I teach I always ask myself, "What have they learned? How do I know that they have learned it?" I am genuinely rewarded when I see a student succeed. I also understand that our education system is largely driven my standardized tests. I have found in my experience that implementing test taking strategies into my teaching style has proven to set students up for success.
While attaining my undergraduate degree, I worked as an intern at Triple Crown Publications doing copywriting, editing and ghost writing work.
