A Little Bit About Me...
While attaining my undergraduate degree, I worked as an intern at Triple Crown Publications doing copywriting, editing and ghost writing work. After graduating from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in Rhetoric & English, I gained a year and a half of experience in the field of Public Relations where I further refined my writing and editing skills. I spent two years as a long term substitute with Columbus City Schools. There I gained first hand experience in creating lesson plans, managing a classroom, creating effective assessments and dealing professionally and appropriately with students, parents and fellow faculty and staff. I also spent two years as a youth counselor and recreation director and The Homeless Families Foundation in Columbus, Ohio. During this time I tutored students in smaller group sessions.
