A Little Bit About Me...

Upon my master's degree in Chemistry, I started to mentor technicians and chemists on wet chemistry techniques and testing. From mentoring and my father's persistency, I started to teach college chemistry (general) 3 semesters ago. I have taught Special Education for 26 years and third grade for 6. I have tutored using the Reading Assist program and various other methods for reading. I also have many techniques for teaching math to young learners. I enjoy working with children one on one or in small groups. I have always wanted to teach. When I was a child I would round up the kids in my neighborhood and make them do lessons that I created. I do remember they did not like that. I went to college and earned a BS in Biology always knowing that I would eventually teach the sciences.
