Having attended higher learning institutions for over 6 years, my drive for more education is apparent. Throughout my experiences, not only have I been tutored, but have tutored my peers in mostly math and sciences. I have developed my speaking and writing abilities through my own employment experiences and feel that I have what it takes to teach and train individuals manual labor skills as well as mathmatical skills and abstract thinking and problem solving skills to help them understand concepts and apply them to a task.

I began my college career in the Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota. During my five semesters in the program I was able to study calculus and physics. I am familiar with high school level physics and mathematics up to and including pre-calculus. After five semesters at the University I transferred to St. Cloud State University to study economics. I honed my statistical and grammatical skills by writing research papers there. During my time at St. Cloud State University I tutored at St. Cloud Technical and Community College. I have always had a passion for helping others learn. In high school I tutored students from different schools in math. After graduating with two bachelor's degrees from the University of Minnesota I began working full time as a financial analyst for Target Corporation. At the same time, I started teaching part time at a learning center. In the past three years I have been able to help students of all ages from first grade through college. For the past year I have been teaching an ACT prep class for high school students.
