I am currently an English major with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Education. I will be graduating this fall. My beliefs about education illustrate that every child has the right and the ability to learn. I believe in data driven instruction. It is not good enough to blindly teach everyday, without proving you are making progress within the skills you are teaching. Once data is disaggregated to show which skills need the most frequent and intense focus, the skill is taught, and then tested again.
