Biology is one of my top subjects! I've tutored students in biology since I was in college. I've helped students pass their Biology subject area tests. I have a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences, and I can cover a variety of topics.

I've been a tutor for the past 8 years. I started tutoring/teaching as a college student, and I've loved every moment. It's so rewarding to see a student's growth in a subject area. I've provided Praxis and ACT prep to students as well as provided help for subject are state tests such as Biology and U.S. History. I love all math and science related subjects and excel at helping students relate to them.
I prefer inquiry based learning in which I utilize the facilitator and "personal model" methods to help students improve their independence, increase their confidence to explore subjects independently, and show them first hand how to comprehend concepts

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been able, since my graduate degree, to not only practice chiropractic, but also teach on the collegiate and high school levels. I have greatly enjoyed teaching anatomy and physiology, chemistry, physics and biology over the last several years.
Learning style vary from child to child, such as visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Each child has the potential to learn in different ways. The best proof of how well a teacher teaches is how well a child learns and retains the information.

As a honor student at Jackson State University, I graduated with a 3.5 GPA. Since graduating with a BS in Biology I have been teaching Biology I at Canton High School
