Elementary is one of my top subjects!

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a BS in Child development with a minor in phsychology and I was teaching for Head Start back before I finished my degree. I have since finished and I am looking to expand my range. I love math and it just comes easy for me. I have a background in Engineering and Calculas.
I first make learning fun and exciting. As in past experience each child learns diffently and I need to be able to adapt to this. I first see what the level of the child is then work on the next step and help make sure the new level is learned as well as the old level is still maintained.

I love teaching elementary children. I like to watch their faces when something finally clicks and they light up. All children have the ability to learn some just need a little extra help or the information explained in a different light. I am a patient and caring teacher who likes to use new and creative ways of learning. I would like to help your child grow and learn and reach their full potential.

I am quite fond of children and their amazing desire and ability to learn. I really enjoy tutoring. I love watching the students gain confidence as we work through the problems. I believe my attitude and approach to teaching helps the students. I provide enough understanding to the students but still challenge them. The worst thing you can do, is just give the answers. I believe everyone wants to learn and do their best, but it is hard when you do not understand what you are trying to do.
