A Little Bit About Me...

As a University of Connecticut graduate, I was very driven by my passion for the sciences. I earned a BS in pathobiology with a minor in molecular and cell biology. I was a well rounded student which has afforded me skills in math, psychology, and English. I have worked as a rowing coach for many years and have the patience and drive to help you reach academic goals.
Teaching comes second nature to me. I believe that all students can learn, but each person requires a different style of instruction in order to fully understand the subject. I provide multiple kinds of instruction while keeping a patient and easy going mentality. A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned an associate degree in Criminal Justice/ Forensics science, at NVCC as well as my certificate in the legal program at Training Direct. I am a senior at the University of Hartford pursuing my Bachelor degree in biochemistry. I have been served as an intern with the CT Judicial Branch Superior Court in Waterbury and enjoyed this experience. I have tutored students in French and mathematics during the past three years.
I have a passion for children, I strongly believe in educating the younger generation due to the fact that they are the future. My philosophy is every child can be academically successful; however, one needs to know and understand their ways of learning. I have been a one-on -one paraprofessional at the elementary school level, teaching all subjects. I have also been a substitute teacher for eight years in prek-eight grade taching all subjects.
