I am a college graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Elementary Education, a major in science and minor in English. I have obtained 22 credits of my masters degree in Teacher Leadership for School Improvement and am 1 course away from my Reading Endorsement. I am also ESOL certified. I truly believe that as an educator you must establish a connection with your students. I graduated from my high school with honors. I have been in College since two weeks after graduating high school, where I am slowly pursuing a career in Nursing while working full time at the Dow Chemical Company. For a summer, I was a nanny for two Junior High aged girls, who I did tutor with summer school work.

My teaching style would be to find the student's primary learning style and converting the information he or she needs into a format that fits that learning style. Each subject would be made as visible or concrete as possible, so that the student could interact with the material on more than just a visual/conceptual level. Showing the student how the material can relate to real-life situations and opportunities would be a vital part of the instruction.
