For the past 10 years I have been tutoring, working with students and helping them in various subjects. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Binghamton University, SUNY in 2005. My GPA was 3.8, and I was on Dean's list every semesterOne of the subjects I tutor is college statistics and a student of mine went from an F to a B. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always loved to teach – even as a child in front of a tiny blackboard in my living room, playing school with my sister. Since then, I have continuously sought opportunities to teach outside of my daily school and work life. As an undergraduate at Middlebury College, I volunteered to teach beginning German at a local elementary school. After college, I taught seventh-grade Faith Formation at my church and also led monthly, 3-hour Confirmation preparation classes. My college coursework helped me develop excellent reading, writing, and language skills, but I am also competent in math and could easily tutor that subject on a grade school level.

Coming from a poor background I was very much determined to change my family economic situation. In 1998 I founded a non-profit organization GHAPE and I have been providing varied trainings to the needy to explore their potentials. The key to a good teaching style is creativity and adaptability. It is the job of the teacher to adjust his teaching style to fit the needs of the student. Some students respond well to visual cues; such as drawings in the case of teaching English as a Second Language.
