I have and still am the go to student in the classroom. I have often had a desire for more than a simple understanding of any course I have ever taken, often this helps me teach my peers. I learned a long time ago there is a great difference between knowing something and understanding something. I have always sought great understanding. I was the first person in my family to attend college. I completed an engineering degree and competed athletically through my collegiate career. I finished school averaging over 18 hours I of course work per semester. I was a classic overachiever. My work ethic was passed to two sons who also finished college successfully and have gone on to successful work.
