A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy watching children learn and grow. I believe there are different teaching techniques for each individual student. I have come to learn this because of my younger sibling who didn't fit into the mold of a typical public school student. I am a firm believer in trying new things and new approaches.
As a Bowling Green State University student who has studied Communication Disorders I have come across many experiences with children. Communication Disorders not only includes speech, but language as well. I have gained knowledge about how children read and write and why some children may have problems with this. During my last semester of college I observed 25 hours of speech and language therpay which involved watching both adults and children. This year I will be graduating with a 3.0 in my major. As an experienced Doctor and Teacher, I am dedicated to enabling individuals to set and attain life goals. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with emphasis on Biological Sciences and Earth Sciences. I was a teacher in the public school system for 6 years. I taught Science from grade 7 through senior level, encompassing Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Physics. I went on to Medical School, where I got my Degree in Osteopathic Medicine. During Medical School, I was a tutor at Greenbrier Community College in the areas of Math and Science. I feel comfortable tutoring students of all ability levels, whether it is introductory or advanced.
