Teaching Science and Math requires that the student understand each step in order to understand a concept. Each student is unique requiring more help in one area than another. When teaching I have always insured that the student is competent with the basic concepts and then we move on to more complicated concepts. Chemistry, Physics and Math are visual and I work from text and paper and pencil to explain concepts. In addition there are many ways to solve math and science problems.
