My teaching style is very student-centered and patient. My students say I make biology and science in general seem easy. I break complicated material into small easy-to-understand pieces. I have one semester of college academic classroom instruction experience and over three years of tutoring experience. My comments on tutoring Homework Help : Homework needs to be organized and complete. As an experienced teacher I can tell anyone that homework needs to be on time and complete!

I obtained a B.S. in Biology, with a concentration in aquatic science, from Wittenberg University in 2006. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored elementary students in math and science twice a week for two years. After college, I moved into the marine science profession. In August of 2008, I started teaching High School Biology I, Earth and Space Science, and Physical Science to students in Polk County. In addition, after school hours were spent with two students taking AP Biology classes. Both students achieved a 4 or higher on their placement exams.
