Never stop pushing yourself to learn

I have taught a large array of children and adults, anywhere from a 2nd grader struggling with reading to adult Burmese refugees. I have the patience and flexibility to successfully work with anyone. I started tutoring when I was around the age of 13. I taught a young Korean girl English, where I would have to create my own lesson plans. Most of my adult life has been dedicated to helping people strive for and achieve personal and academic success. I have worked in the academic field for approximately 8 years; tutoring at a community college level for 4 years and scoring MEAP tests for 4 years. I went to school at EMU with the intention of getting a doctorate in Physics, to teach at the college level. I ended up getting a job in IT at the University, and found I enjoy this just as much. While a student, I volunteer tutored for the Society of Physics Students, and I tutor all the student employees I have when they are taking physics classes. During my education at Wayne, as I gained a good knowledge of the Italian language, I started to tutor lower-level students. In the end, I tutored Italian for one and a half years.
