A Little Bit About Me...

My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I worked as a TAKS tutor in the El Paso Independent School District last semester. I enjoyed working with middle school students on their reading comprehension skills.

Utilizing multiple intelligences to aid in tutoring students is important to helping all students improve their skills in all disciplines. Patience, perseverance and a sense of humor along with supporting not only the student, but the family is very important. Tutoring is a way to address the specific needs of the student when it's not possible to do one on one teaching sessions when the student needs more time on task.
I have been hired recently to teach Creative Writing, Reading and Math in late November.
