I utilize kinesthetic learning and encourage parental involvement within the tutoring sessions.
I summarized my basic experience in the Policy Statement. To expand on that, I have over 20 apps on an android tablet that are for clients who need early intervention in the areas of educational subjects, speech/breathing techniques, social and emotional recognition and assistive communication. I have a child safety filter infiltrated into the device so that the clients receive only what is appropriate to their learning. They cannot access the settings on the device, nor the regular web. I honor parents' input on what they think is appropriate for their child.

I love to speak Spanish, especially with native speakers, something I have enjoyed doing since traveling with my Westwood HS Spanish Club to Hermosillo and Chihuahua in 1968 and 1969. My Spanish fluency blossomed in 1971, as I began living in Chile for two years, working occasionally with the Chilean Dept of Visas. Since then, I have traveled throughout Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Mexico. Teaching others to speak Spanish brings me great joy.

Optimistic communicator sharing a love of reading & writing

I worked as a tutor while doing respite work for United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County in California. I am proud to say that the young man I worked with the longest is now finishing his BA in justice studies at Cal State Dominguez Hills. I also tutored as a substitute aid for the Ocean View School District in Orange County, California.
