My comments on tutoring Social Studies : I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, and 5th Grade. I am certified K-6th grade. I also taught advanced and Intermediate math and language arts in a GED/HiSet program. I currently teach ESOL/CIVICS for an Adult School.

My teaching philosophy starts out with essentialism which believes in a strong core curriculum and high academic standards. I spent those two years tutoring students on the composition and structure of essays, and helped them edit and proofread their work. I am a recent graduate of kennesaw State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. I believe that I am competent in various areas of biology and chemistry, and will be able to convey that competence. I have taught and tutored at my church and in other volunteer programs since high school. I also currently give drum lessons at a Stephen's Music Company.

A Little Bit About Me...

After closing my small business I want to indulge my passion as an educator. Directly out of college I accepted a position as Math teacher at a private school, teaching different levels of mathematics to 7th & 8th grade students.
