I believe that all children are unique and gifted in some way. I truly prefer to work with them one-on-one. Each child learns in a manner that is a challege to meet and I welcome this challenge and often find that I learn as much from them as they might from me. Children love to learn and I love to provide that opportunity in as many varied and intersting ways as I can.
I have taught 4 and 5th grade in the Texas School Systems for 24 years. I worked as a retired teacher in the Adams Wells Special Services Coop for 3 years (2006-2009)as a teacher's aide with special needs students both in the elementary and high school levels. A Little Bit About Me...

I have received degrees in Int'l Business from Lourdes College, as well an Associates Degree in Accounting from Owens Community College. While with the Ohio Air National Guard, participated in the Mentoring program with Township Elementary, Swanton Local Schools for five(5)-years. I enjoyed working with the students, helping those that needed a little extra attention. I enjoy reading, writing, learning new words, learning period. Math, science, grammer, writing, civics, are all areas where our future need some help and I want to help make a difference. This is a serious problem for us as a society and a nation. A Little Bit About Me...

As an adult I realized that my true calling was teaching, and I advanced my education to become an educator. I am a third generation teacher and have a passion to help young students see their potential and achieve their dreams. Over the last eleven year I have spent 10 years in the classroom teaching eighth grade Language Arts, tenth grade through senior English.
