Professional but friendly English ESOL teacher

Depending on the area we need to work, the focus of the lesson will vary, but more often my students need all four skills to develop (speaking, listening, writing and reading). I strongly believe in the communicative approach in which I'm internationally certified. I'm open to my students wishes and preferences and choose activities for lessons accordingly.

My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : Learning to read and reading comprehension are vital skills for students to master in order to excel in all areas of learning.

I absolutely love teaching and working with children. Children learn in unique and individual ways and sometimes struggle in school work because they learn at a different pace than the class as a whole. Individual and small group instruction greatly benefits these children in many ways. They have a chance to ask questions, to deal with specific areas of difficulty and to have better self-esteem when they discover they can learn and master the challenges of reading, writing, and math. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently a college sophomore at Florida Institute of Technology studying Computer Engineering so I know the problems a high school or school or college student would face in studies.
