I am a fan of Howard Gardner- I believe each student has his/her own learning style. Knowing these learning styles can help both teacher and student accomplish academic success. I also believe in a gradual release of responsibility on the student's part. Teaching vocabulary before the actual lesson can help the student understand more completely.
I have recently acquired a Master of Education degree in Education-a lifelong dream. I have taught in both private and public schools in grades PreK-6. As far as teaching goes, I am mostly here to help the person with the way they write their papers, organization of paragraphs, spelling, whether or not the writing makes sense to the reader, and whether or not the reading understands what is written.
