I enjoy tutoring, because I find that helping students learn, and perhaps come to appreciate something they find difficult, is a learning process for me as well. It is very rewarding to watch someone learn and understand something and to watch them become more independent in their studying. This included individual and group tutoring sessions in all subjects. I mostly tutored in mathematics as this is my specialty. After transferring to Eastern Illinois University, I began my pursuit of a teaching certificate in secondary education with my concentration in mathematics.
