I have been researching the Search Institute's 40 Developmental Assets because I plan on using them as a base for the children that I work with at Community Action Duluth through the Circles of Support program. I believe that teaching children academic skills while building assets within them is necessary for a healthy community. While I was at BSU I was active with the local girl scouts, and in three years I was a Studio 2B counselor, a pixie camp coordinator, a troop leader, and the co-community coordinator. At BSU I had a variety of different labs and practicums.
