A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently working as the accounting manager of a manufacturing plant with over 160 employees. I have additional experience in construction and personal business ownership. I have helped people incorporate and have written 501(c)3 applications for non-profit organizations. I am the church treasurer and on the board of directors and I am a chair on the fund raising committee for Duluth Vaxjo Soccer Exchange program. My background in accounting covers the simple to the complex, including non profit, payroll and taxes.
I first realized how different people learn when my own children were young. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy working with children. My volunteering experience with children at Grant Elementary gave me opportunity to realize how much I enjoy teaching. I believe that any child can meet his or her potential if he or she is given proper direct approach. I am also a mother of fourteen-year-old, eight-year-old, and one-year-old. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently enrolled in my last semester as an Accounting student at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Accounting will be the second degree that I have earned. I have a History BSE degree with a certification in Social Science from Minot State University. I think that the combination of these degrees me a very unique prospective in History, Accounting and especially Economics. My patience has been the reason many of my employers pick me to train in the new employees.
I have a lot of patience for people that are learning a new subject and my general demeanor is easy going. I teach through asking questions to bring the learner to the point of the lesson. I am able to breakdown harder lessons into smaller, more manageable lessons. Teachers complimented me on helping other students to learn the material.
