I have earned two degrees, BS and MS in Mathematics, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers, along with essays in many various areas of study. The more the student discovers on their own with only a little coaching and encouragement will last longer than if someone shows every step. I believe in a practical hands one real world method. If what the student is learning is not relavent to the real world and their lives they are less likely to learn it. I have 2 Years of teaching First Aid/ CPR/ AED at the American Red Cross. I also have 1 quarter of tutoring physics at Washington State Community College. I also instruct Pet CPR/First Aid for the American Red Cross. As a Chatham graduate, I have discovered a wonderful experience throughout my college career in Music. I have earned an Associate degree, BS in Music and Bachelor degree in Science of Music and Arts & Design. I have gained an outstanding interest and energy in Music Performances as well as Music Educations in my study at Chatham University. I have experience piano playing for 25 years at my home. I have and learn to interpret music in theory for 4 years in several areas of study. During my last 5 years in Music, I have tutored students 101 in Music Theory and Piano and volunteered at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in spring of 2009.
